Terms of service

DadBody is a brand of MERGE Fitness Inc., a company registered in British Columbia, Canada. When you buy a program or use this site, your agreement is with MERGE Fitness Inc. Questions go straight to Dai through the contact page.

By using this site, applying for a program or buying anything here, you agree to these terms, the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy. If that is not you, please do not use the site. Keep what you tell us accurate and up to date.

You must be 18 or older to buy anything or join any program on this site. By buying or applying you confirm you are.

Programs are sold by MERGE Fitness Inc. We handle orders, invoicing, customer service and returns ourselves.

Prices are agreed and confirmed in writing before you pay. Programs are one-off purchases: no auto-renewal. Payments are processed by Stripe. If you choose to save a card with Stripe Link, Stripe holds it, not us, and we never see your full card number.

A program gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to take part in it and to use the material for your own training. Places are personal and cannot be sold, given away or transferred to another person.

We work hard to keep the site, the member portal and our tools (including the training app) running, but we cannot promise they will never go down or have a glitch. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Coaching is not medical care. Dai is a coach, not a doctor, and nothing here is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Check with your doctor first if you have a condition, an injury or take medication. You train at your own risk.

Cohorts start on the date in your welcome email. If you cannot make it, tell us before day one and we will move you to the next cohort once at no charge, or refund you under the Refund Policy. A place that is not used and not moved is forfeited once the refund window closes.

Training is delivered through Trainerize by ABC Fitness, which has its own terms and privacy policy that you accept when you create your login there. We are not responsible for Trainerize's availability or for changes it makes to its service.

Group calls may be recorded so a man who misses one can catch up. Recordings stay inside that cohort and are deleted within 90 days of the cohort ending. What another man shares in a call or the group chat stays in the group. We will never quote you publicly, in a testimonial or anywhere else, without your separate written permission.

You must not:

• use the site or any program unlawfully, or for fraud or spam;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property, or share, resell or republish our material;
• interfere with the security of the site: no malware, no probing, no scraping, no attempts to get around access limits or paywalls;
• share your login, or let anyone else use your place in a cohort;
• repeat anything said by another man in a group call or group chat outside that group.

You are responsible for keeping your account details confidential and for everything done under your account.

MERGE Fitness Inc owns the site, the programs, the written and recorded material, the worksheets, the branding and the name DadBody. Nothing you buy transfers ownership of any of it. Reverse engineering, redistribution and resale are not permitted.

Anything you write or upload stays yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it only so we can coach you and run the service.

We can suspend or end your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious misuse, including abusive behaviour toward Dai or another member of a cohort.

You can stop using the service at any time. When access ends you keep any results pack already issued to you; your account data is handled as described in the privacy notice.

If we end your access for breach, no refund is owed beyond what the Refund Policy already gives you.

To the fullest extent permitted by British Columbia law, MERGE Fitness Inc.'s total liability to you for anything arising from this site or any program is limited to the amount you paid for that program. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where the law does not allow it to be excluded.

You agree to cover us for claims arising from your unlawful use of the service or your breach of these terms.

If something outside our reasonable control (illness, a platform outage, a natural event, a public health order) stops us running a cohort as planned, we will reschedule it or refund the unused part. That is the full extent of what we owe in that case.

Everything here is sold online by MERGE Fitness Inc., 278 East 1st Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5T 1A6, Canada, and delivered online. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Full refund terms are on the refund policy page.

If something goes wrong, email Dai first. We will try to sort it out within 14 days. If we cannot, these terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here takes away a right you have under BC consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

If we update these terms, the date below changes and the current version always applies to new orders.

Your purchase is governed by the version you accepted at checkout, which we keep on file.
