0:03Welcome back to the 2% Solution Podcast, where we explore small changes that make a big impact on your life Dai Manuel I'm , and today we're diving into the three best ways to shift a negative mindset to a positive one. Why focus on this? Because mindset is everything. It influences how we experience daily life, long-term aspirations and our ability to bounce back from setbacks. Yes, resiliency in chin. So let's embark on this journey together and transform our outlook on life.

0:36So let's start with the power of gratitude. Gratitude is more than a mere thank you. It's a force of transformation. Studies like the one published in psychotherapy research have shown that practicing gratitude can lead to a 10% increase in happiness, a 35% reduction in depressive symptoms. Imagine starting your day recognizing the good around you and how that simple act can light up your world. Now here's a real life tip Begin each day by listing three things you're grateful for.

1:07It can be a simple as a sunny day or a great cup of Joe. Sharing this gratitude can also strengthen your connections with others. Now exercise number two this idea of embracing mindfulness. Mindfulness brings us the present, helping us engage fully with the here and now. A study in the JAMA Internal Medicine found that daily mindfulness meditation led to a 20% reduction in stress. It's about acknowledging our thoughts and feelings without the judgment, and staying grounded.

1:41A real, quick exercise is as simple as taking a breath. Start by taking a deep breath, focus on your breathing and let this moment of mindfulness center your thoughts, pushing negativity aside. And then, when it comes to number three, positive affirmations. Affirmations reshape our beliefs and self perceptions. Research from the Journal of Positive Psychology highlights how affirmations can enhance our brains' self-value areas, improving our natural resilience.

2:14Repeating positive statements like I am capable of achieving my dreams can fundamentally change how we view ourselves and our potential. Incorporating gratitude, mindfulness and positive affirmations into our lives doesn't just alter our mindset. It transforms our entire being. It's not an overnight change, but with dedication, the benefits are profound. You start to see the world not as half-empty, but as abundantly full.

2:43I encourage you to integrate these practices into your life and share your journey with us. Today's episode inspired you. Please subscribe, leave a review and share it with someone in need of a little positivity today. Together, let's strive for that 2% improvement every day. Thank you for tuning in. Remember it's all about the small steps that lead to big changes. Until next time, here's to a more positive, joyful and fulfilled life.
